In the above spirit and context, NALCO OFFICER’S ASSOCIATION (NOA), Angul was established in 1986 with an initial membership of about 100 officers of Smelter & Power complex of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO). It was registered by the Registrar of Societies under Registration of Society Act, Govt. Of Odisha vide Registration No.-DKL/1449/28/1987. Mr. P.L.Sahu was the first President & Mr. D.B.Bhanja was the first General Secretary of the Association. The present President and the General Secretary of NOA (2023-25) are Mr. Banamali Sethy (9437015733) and Mr. Nalini Kanta Panda (9437963907) respectively.The main objective of the Association is to protect every interest of officers in the matter of their career growth, genuine grievances, personal as well as professional problems, deliberate discrimination by the management, etc. and the organization at large.
